6.2gn is listed as maximum for a 240gn lead projectile in .44 Magnum in our Factory load data.
Hodgdon Clays is our Aussie AS30N. Very similar to Red Dot in burn rate.

i use 5 in my 45 colt the pressure is in the 14k range.
clays is faster then red dot i think of it as a slow bullseye.
