13.5 grains of "old" 2400 and RCBS 150 CGC FN boolit in my 1917 Enfield have delivered 1 inch at 50 yards for me in the past at about 1550 fps.
Anyone have a load for "Soupcan", 120 RNGC or 150 FNGC using WC 820 or milsurp 4759 in the 3006?

Nope, but I did load the 113 gc with 9gr Herco and get 1500fps and 3/4" at 50 yds in the 7.5x55 SR, very similar to .308 and .30-06.
With the 160gr 2R gc, 30gr Rel7 gave 2200fps and 40gr BLC2 gave 2150fps., both about 1 1/2" at 100yds.
Got a couple for the 06 : Lyman311644 -22gr RX-7 ,RCBS 180gr-21gr IMR4759.Both run around 1600fps and show potential.Rifle is a P-14 with a p-17 bolt married to a barely used Douglas barrel. Stock is $10.00 rough blank from Gunparts. She's a single shot. Competed in my first bench rest shoot against condom bullet shooters Had a good 1 1/4 " group going at 100yds but pulled the last to make it around 2'' but still was better than several other guys. At 200yds for score, there were no sight-in targets. Got the elevation in after two 6's but over did it on the windage on the next three but put them in a 1'' group in the seven ring. I was definitely happy and finished in the middle of the pack. Cast can definitely do it. Mel
