I believe BAIR went out of business in the '80's. Don't know who would have parts for the presses now.

.............Bair I believe became Bear as some old Handloader magazines had adds saying so. I doubt that that helps very much because Bear either went out of business or was absorbed by someone else (who didn't advertise the event). You might be able to do as Johnch suggested and adapt someone elses bushings. Heck, measure them and see. Maybe another brand will be a direct fit?

    Bair

I think Hornady took over Bair. Their case trimmers were the same, except Bair's were blue and Hornady's were red. Check with Hornady for bushings.

Well the press is blue. I haven't got it yet (it'll be in the mail soon, my WIFE hates the money I spend). Good idea to bore it out to accept another companys' bushings. I'll have more questions for you guys when it comes in.

    Thanks,
    Darren

    Hornady definately took over Bair.

I have a little Honey Bair 12G. loader and use Hornady bushings.

I have a Bair powder measure that I bought in the late sixties. It's blue and has a rotor mechanism that has one cavity. Mush like the RCBS Little Dandy.

tomf52--That Bair powder measure that is blue. Have you considered sending it off to Dr Phil? For sure that would fix it,but you might be able to do some home therapy. Maybe put it in a crate with a ticking alarm clock and a blanket and maybe some other brand of powder measure that should cheer it up.

The press just came in today . Here are the outside measurements of the bushings let me know if they are the same.

    Powder: .871 diam
    .997 high

    Shot: .996 diam
    .995 high.

Is it Hornady? Both bushings have Bair written on them.

Sounds like Hornady bushings will work just fine. FYI, Hornady, RCBS and Ponsness-Warren bushings are interchangable.
