I was working on the second floor of a townhouse here on Long Island. It shook the place pretty good as china & glasses were rattling around. IIRC we had a similar one back around 2010.

The Perfesser used to be on here & sold blank dies for Star & H&I. Haven't seen him here for a while. Think he might be over on the artfulbullet. I bought a few blanks some years back from him. ...

My dad got sick of idiots taking out his mailbox with their cars. We used a lally column buried about 3' in a big ball of concrete. It's been there probably 40 years now.

Just a quick word about bullet feeders. They tend to work best with "J" words or PC'ed boolits. At least that's been my experience.

I used to use the Hornady bullet feeder die. It now sits in a drawer since I made this bullet collator.

Kroil was designed as a penetrating oil. There are better choices IMO for rust protection such as Boeshield or Fluid Film.

You can't fix stupid. Everything you stated seems like common sense to me.

I believe mine are bottomed out on the shaft. My plates ride on on the hopper, they don't float suspended on the motor shaft. I'd say as long as your hex portion of the coupler is fully engaged in...

A friend had his boat shrink wrapped & left money for the guy in his outdoor gas grill. Well the guy never removed the money & my buddy ate a very expensive burger that night.

I had to change out one for a buddy. It was a fairly straight forward job. I personally prefer a dial, but they can fail too. I'd replace it if I were you with a S&G or similar.

The alloy calculator I'm using has your alloy at:
95.10% PB
2.02% Antimony
2.88% Tin
You can drop the tin down to 1.75oz to get the content down to 2%.

Are you seating & crimping in separate steps? I find I can get away with seating & crimping in the same step with jacketed but not with cast.

I've run into Norma 9mm brass as well. If I lightly lube the cases I find the Lee "U" die I'm using gets the job done. There is more resistance when sizing but I've yet to bend a decap pin.

To start, I'd want a press with at least 5 stations. That rules out the SD & the 550. I don't know enough about Lee to have an opinion so I'll leave them out also. That really leaves the LNL & the...

I do it very similar to Half Dog. I take split shot that I cast from pure lead & put it into a case. Hit it with either acetylene or propane. Might drop another piece of shot in as it melts.
