Glad you knew what to do, and that everything turned out OK.

This is the best I can do with the primer pocket photo, and I can’t see the inside of the case at all. I generally don’t clean primer pockets. Call it a flaw in my character

Thanks, first I’ve heard of wet tumbling without pins. I generally tumble without removing the spent primer, so the decapping pin will clean the flash hole. This wet tumbling method works well, but...

These poeces were tumbled for two hours in water, with Dawn and Lemishine. No pins! Stumbled across this method on Cavedweller 59’s site, and thought I’d share.

In a handgun, I would imagine that loading two balls like that would severely limit the powder capacity in a revolver. Maybe the author meant a single shot pistol? I can see that being done.

Ingenious idea. I never noticed the difference in case length before. You should probably patent this.

USAA for 50 years, absolutely no complaints. Excellent service.

I have only shot cast rifle bullts in a 30/30, but Hunter Supply makes good ones.

Gotta agree with Bigslug on this one. 10MM is at least somewhat available, while the others are not.I can’t quote ballistics on any of them, and you don’t say what you plan to hunt, but to me handgun...

When that happens to me, usually the image is too big. Try resizing the pic, and that should solve your problem.
I’d take whatever I wanted to, and just keep my mouth shut. Thar’s just me, though.

Look fora used Thompson Center Hawken. They can be had for $4-500.00, and IMO are some of the best charcoal burners around. A good one will last your lifetime, and then some. Good luck!

When I was in the Army, back in the dark ages, we had marksmanship training like this. We used sightless BB guns, and could learn to hit a quarter sized washer in the air. It was called “quick kill”,...

In my experience, they are a royal PITA. Mine lasted one trip. Tell her to look at a small hardside unit, or just go with a regular tent.

Thanks for posting. Looks like a winner. I wonder if you could use a fired case for that technique?
